Spacing and layering of the ensemble in relation to stage compliment visual effect, and performance flow is uninterrupted with climax

Ensemble fully performs distinctive aesthetic movements according to song genre choice
Appearance & Poise – 10 points
Costuming and grooming are organized, and ensemble demonstrates professionalism and confidence

Choreography and movements are are rhythmically precise and synchronous across ensemble
Facial Expression/Characterization – 10 points
Emotion, characterization, and intent are clear, true and believable

Ensemble’s presentation of choreography, costuming, accompaniment, and, if they are present, sets, props, and special effects combine to enhance performance

Accompaniment
Quality of Accompaniment – 10 points
Demonstration of tone quality, articulation, breath support, and other techniques associated with trained playing. When used, electronic instruments and effects choose appropriate sounds and complement the performance. If present, mixing and other sound support are executed successfully.
Interplay between Accompaniment, Vocals, & Visuals – 10 points
Band accommodates, enhances, and compliments the vocal sound and choreography.
Weighting
By Raw Scores, the captions are weighted as 35% Vocals (70 points), 35% Visuals (70 points), Show 20% (40 points), and 10% Accompaniment (20 points). The grand total for all captions is 200 points. The proportions cannot be mathematically manipulated.
